A guided Natural Wine Tasting with Isabelle Legeron, France’s first female Master of Wine & founder of RAW WINE.

WHEN

Wednesday 1st November 2023
18:00 - 20:30

WHERE

Antidote, Carnaby Street, Soho.

As France’s first female Master of Wine, and one of only 419 MWs worldwide, Isabelle’s wine life began in a classical fashion. She won the Madame Bollinger award for Excellence in Tasting and the Villa Maria award for Viticulture when she became an MW. Shortly after, she was awarded the ‘Wine Woman of the Year’ award in Paris.

However, Isabelle’s career took an abrupt about turn at the end of her wine studies – when she chose a different path to most. Isabelle decided to dedicate her work to helping people think about what they drink and to promoting the need for transparency in the wine world.

In 2012, she created RAW WINE, which has since grown to become the world’s largest community of low-intervention organic, biodynamic and natural wine producers, with fairs, a wine club and an online shop.

“Standard bearer for the natural wine movement, Legeron is one of the 50 most powerful women in wine”

These are exceptional wines and RAW WINE exists to bring all those who grow, make and love them together to facilitate connections, spread information and, in so doing, help foster change.

Why Shared Sustainability Experiences?

Starting in September 2023 we will be running bi-monthly events, inviting a small group of senior leaders and corporate marketeers together to partake in a sustainability experience whilst having informal discussion about their own experiences and learnings about moving towards improved sustainability in the corporate world.

It doesn’t matter where you are on your journey, we are looking for a mix of people who bring something interesting to the group.

Why Temper Digital?

Our own journey into sustainability has highlighted the impact the internet has on global carbon consumption (one billion tonnes of greenhouse gases a year according to The Boston Consulting Group).

For us, the most useful contribution we can make is to advise corporate organisations & their marketing teams on how to build low carbon / sustainable websites & digital products and services.

Our aim is to put on events we would like to go to ourselves to create a supportive network for learning and discussion about improved sustainability.

There will never be any pitches from us or anyone from the group. the only presentation you see will be related to the shared experience we are undertaking.
